Escamilla turned to Applus+ Certification for its inaugural certification under this agri-food standard as part of its wider development and expansion strategy.
ESCAMILLA SAT 2080 was presented, on Monday 18th March, with its IFS Food certificate by Alicia Arroyo and Carmen Rodríguez, respectively Applus+ Certification’s Head of Operations and Commercial Manager.
This Andalusian company specialises in the production, processing, seasoning and packaging of table olives. Its IFS Food certification guarantees that its products meet food safety standards, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction. Furthermore, as Managing Director Antonio Escamilla explains, “Our IFS Food certification will serve as a letter of recommendation to the big retail chains and will open the door to international markets”.
The award ceremony took place at the Escamilla SAT 2080 facility in Seville and was attended by various Escamilla representatives: Juan Rueda, CFO, Paqui Escamilla, Quality Manager, and Antonio Escamilla, MD; as well as by Ángel Llorente and Alejandro Sánchez from the AECONOVA consultancy.
