08/07/2021

Last Thursday, 1st July 2021, Applus+ Certification delivered the recognized IFS FOOD certificate to the company JAMONES VDA. DE RODRIGUEZ, S.L., known under the trade name GRANADUL.

The company is located in the town of Guadix, Granada, which is dedicated to the production of a traditional and artisan ham, without colourants, preservatives or other additives, highlighting its characteristic curing in natural drying sheds on the north face of Sierra Nevada. These environmental and climatic conditions give the ham its unique flavour and ensuring its best quality.

Carmen Noelia Rodríguez, Commercial Manager of Applus+ Certification Food & Agriculture, presented this certification to José Miguel Rodriguez Parra, the company's administrator.

The IFS FOOD certification means an improvement in production processes while guaranteeing the production of safe products at globally recognised quality levels. This allows the company to increase the value and image of the brand, improve consumer confidence and facilitate access to new market opportunities, through uniform and transparent systems, in all links of the food chain.

In the words of José Miguel Rodriguez himself, "Obtaining this certificate has been a challenge that we have faced with enthusiasm and excitement, trusting that it will allow us to grow and continue improving every day, gaining the confidence of our clients and opening new doors".

Applus+ Certification’s Carmen Noelia Rodríguez has personally congratulated both the manager and the staff of the company for having successfully completed the certification process, aware of the effort involved, but above all with the conviction that we are working with a key objective to improve the competitiveness of the company, both in national and international markets.
