UNE 179002 – Quality Management System for healthcare transportation organization

This standard was designed to be integrated effectively with the ISO 9001 standard, which facilitates its implementation and certification. 

This standard provides healthcare transportation companies with the means for incorporating new process management models in order to improve the efficacy of transportation and ensure compliance with legal requirements as well as the requirements of the interested parties. 

In accordance with the  Ministerial Order PRE 1435/2013, this standard is compulsory for any entity offering healthcare transportation via roads, whether public or private. One of the compulsory requirements for obtaining the authorisation is to be certified in quality standards such as the ISO 9001 standard and the UNE 179002 standard.
