New accreditation for certifying tax-deductible R&D&I Projects

Applus+ Certification obtains ENAC accreditation to certify research, development and innovation activities.

Innovation is a key factor for the success of organizations’ growth and development strategies. The Spanish administration knows it, encourages it and supports it. How? Through incentives such as tax benefits for carrying out Research and Development and technological innovation (R&D&I) activities.

In order to receive the benefits set out in Art. 35 of the Corporate Tax Law, it is recommended to obtain a Binding Reasoned Report granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN). To get this report, it is essential to provide a certificate issued by an entity accredited by ENAC.

ENAC has now accredited Applus+ Certification for the certification of these kinds of activities in accordance with Royal Decree 1432/2003*. In other words, from now on, Applus+ Certification can certify R&D&I projects so that our clients can deduct them for tax purposes, with legal security.

With this new accreditation, we expand our R&D&I Project Certification services, as we also certify R&D&i management systems according to UNE 166002.

*Applus+ Certification is a Certification Entity of R+D+i Projects according to Royal Decree 1432/2003 and UNE 166001 accredited by ENAC with accreditation Nº 203/C-PR422.
