    About BRC certification

The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification scheme was developed with a view to encouraging the manufacture of safe food products and managing their quality in order to meet customer requirements and fulfil manufacturers’ regulatory compliance and consumer protection obligations.

The scheme requires the firm commitment of the company’s management team and the putting in place of a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Plan, a quality management system and prerequisite programmes for good hygiene and manufacturing practice.
