Applus+ recertifies Costa Rica’s Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (SUGEF) to ISO 9001 standard

    SUGEF returns to Applus+ for the renewal of its ISO 9001:2008 certification.

    Applus+ Certification has recertified Costa Rica’s Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (SUGEF), the Costa Rican Central Bank’s public supervisory and inspection body overseeing the financial institutions that provide financial intermediation services in the country. SUFEG once again turned to
     
    Applus+ for the renewal of its ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification. This international standard demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to the quality and continuous improvement of its services. SUGEF therefore continues to bolster its image and underpin the confidence it has long held as a result of certifying its systems through Applus+ Certification.
     
    The certificate was awarded to Juan Ramón Funes, Quality Assurance Manager at SUGEF, by Jesús de Mora, Director of Applus+ Certification in Latin America, on Thursday 11th February.
